Bixby Sayz
Was messing around with forms and noticed that many things simply do not display as intended on Windows XP. Works fine on Vista and up but not XP. Which got me to wondering: How many people out there are actually using XP? Personally I run a number of XP virtual machines on top of my actual OS. LordJashin
^ Same. I got a new computer, and it handles windows 7 perfectly. But on my old, I liked XP better, because it was an older dual core pentium
Wanted
Last time I had a good install of SCAR and a XP OS computer was 2010 and like SCAR 3.
FHannes
Officially, SCAR Divi 3.25 and up were designed for Vista and 7, but if there's any problems running on XP, I'm more than willing to look into it.
Bixby Sayz
I do most (all?) of my script development/testing in an XP virtual machine. Works fine for everything other than visual things (such as forms) do not behave as you would expect. (edit fields may or may not display their background color, background image doesn't display through panels, etc) All due to XP's built in windowing api. Not a big deal but sometimes I forget and spend some time trying to figure out why something isn't working when the answer is "you're using XP dumbass." Try using the Next Editors category in the form editor?
Felix_Teh_Cat
I only play with Scar 3.13. 3 years on XP. 4 years on Win7 Ultimate. Lately I've been running 9 Virtual machine's with a Win 7 Host computer and XP VM's.
Bixby Sayz
Sounds similiar to my setup. Except the host is Win7 on one machine and Win8 on another.
