Amberleaf Posted February 18, 2012 Share Posted February 18, 2012 (edited) AmberQuickSwitch V0.1 This script was designed to switch weapons as quickly as possible between a rune2h and a rune scimitar/kite shield setup. It's a simple but effective script when used right, follow the instructions below or you'll end up dead. Instructions for use 1. Start the RS Template script and wait for the SMART client to pop-up, click the Disable SMART button and log into a PVP world. 2. Go to Edgeville and withdraw your rune2h and place it in the top left inventory slot. 3. Withdraw your rune scimitar & kite, wear these. 4. Load & start the AmberQuickSwitch script & drag the Target onto the SMART client, while in the bank test the QUICK KEYS. 5. If it's working, enter the wilderness and find a fight (Don't forget food). QUICK KEYS left CTRL will switch to rune 2h sword, left SHIFT will switch back to rune scimitar & kite shield. TIPS 1. All you have to do is keep an eye on your HP, eat food when below 300 & quick switch when your enemy is on low hp. 2. Take swordfish with you, they're the best food F2P 3. Take a strength potion with you 4. Charge your prayer to full and use it wisely, don't just enable it at the start of a fight, get the target low on HP, eat a fresh dose of strength, enable prayer when scimitar hits, quick switch to rune 2h. Sounds impressive, I didn't want to take any control away from the user with this type of script because detecting when to eat or when to switch would be tricky as hell & there's just too much at stake if the script's getting it wrong. This little script still leaves you with a lot to do & user skill is still a big factor, but it takes a lot of stress away from the user not having to concentrate on switching back and forth.
