FHannes Posted November 12, 2013 Share Posted November 12, 2013 The forums have been under constant and increasing attack of SEO spam bots. Though there's a lot of anti-spam measures in place to prevent them from getting through, a portion of them still managed to get though anyway. Most of you will have never noticed this, as no posts ever appeared on the forums from those bots, just a few random new users. This is because the first post for every user account was being moderated, allowing me to manually filter out the real users from spambots. I've now implemented new measures that I'm fairly confident will stop the remaining bots. As such I've also disabled post moderation for new accounts. First posts should no longer be auto-moderated.
